Last updated: 23 August 2026
Hinkik Jewelry (“Hinkik,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal data when you visit hinkik.com, contact us, create an account, or place an order. Hinkik Jewelry is the data controller for the processing described in this policy, except where another provider acts as an independent controller under its own privacy notice.
Personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Identity and contact data: name, email address, telephone number, billing address, delivery address, and account details.
- Order and transaction data: products purchased, order history, payment status, shipping information, returns, refunds, and communications about your order. Payment card or bank information is generally collected and processed directly by the payment provider; we do not normally receive or store complete card details.
- Communications: messages, requests, reviews, and customer-support records that you send by email, LINE, forms, or other channels.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, timestamps, and interactions with the Store.
- Marketing preferences: your subscription status and preferences where you choose to receive promotional communications.
How we collect personal data
We collect data directly from you, automatically through the Store and cookies or similar technologies, and from service providers involved in your transaction, such as Shopify, payment providers, delivery providers, fraud-prevention services, and analytics providers.
How and why we use personal data
We use personal data only when we have an appropriate purpose and legal basis, including to:
- process payment, confirm, prepare, deliver, return, or refund an order and provide customer support;
- create and manage customer accounts and maintain transaction records;
- verify transactions, prevent fraud, protect the Store, and enforce our policies;
- operate, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Store, products, and customer experience;
- send service messages and, where you have consented or the law otherwise permits, marketing communications;
- comply with accounting, tax, consumer-protection, payment, and other legal obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Depending on the circumstances, we rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests, and consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
How we disclose personal data
We may disclose only the data reasonably necessary to:
- Shopify and its affiliates, which host and operate the Store. Shopify may also process certain data under its own privacy terms. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
- Payment providers and financial institutions to authorize payments, prevent fraud, process refunds, and handle disputes.
- Delivery, logistics, and customs providers to deliver orders and resolve delivery issues.
- Technology, analytics, communications, and professional service providers that support our Store and business under appropriate confidentiality or data-protection obligations.
- Government authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business reorganization.
We do not sell personal data for money. Some advertising or analytics activities may be treated as “sale” or “sharing” under certain laws; where applicable, we provide the choices required by those laws.
Cookies and analytics
The Store and our service providers may use necessary, preference, analytics, and advertising cookies or similar technologies. These help keep the Store secure, remember settings, understand use, and measure or personalize communications. You can manage cookies through your browser and through any consent or privacy-choice tool displayed on the Store. Blocking some cookies may affect Store functionality.
International data transfers
Shopify and other service providers may process personal data outside Thailand or your country of residence. Where required, we use providers and safeguards intended to protect transferred data in accordance with applicable law.
Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. The period depends on the nature of the data, our relationship with you, security and fraud-prevention needs, applicable accounting, tax, payment, and consumer-protection requirements, and relevant limitation periods. Account data is generally retained while the account is active; marketing data until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent; and order, payment, return, refund, and support records for the period required to meet legal, accounting, dispute, and warranty obligations. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data. However, no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to or a copy of your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion, restriction, objection, or portability; withdraw consent; unsubscribe from marketing; and lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some rights are subject to legal exceptions.
Children
The Store is not intended for children who lack legal capacity to enter into a purchase. If you are under the age of legal majority in your place of residence, please use the Store only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate consent, please contact us.
Third-party links
The Store may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we encourage you to review them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, services, or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
